I’m inspired by ski kids and how much they learn in a short amount of time.  I hate to admit it, but my own are technically stronger skiers than me…when did that happen?  But because they are so motivated to try new things, sometimes they end up fallen.  There are days that seem more fallen than others…days where we can’t seem to get to the hill on time for lessons, days where we’re searching for skis in the snow, days where we bribe the kids down the hill with candy, days where we get to the hill missing a mitten, days where poles are dropped from the chairlifts, and days where they fall…and well, they’re stuck!

With all its imperfections, this painting is an earlier piece and represents a combination of many things. It hangs in our private collection.
